The History

The oldest documentary source about the family dates back to 20th november 1406, date that can be read on an epigraph in St. Mary's of Montenerone in Rome ; it was written in memory of Giovanni from Baxano by his son Dragonetti and his grandson.

So the origin of the Dragonetti family is Bazzano, a place in the territory of L'Aquila. Only in the 19th the name de Torres is near the Dragonetti one ; they came to Italy following Charles V.

In 1864 the last of the Torres appoints his nephews , his sister and Luigi Dragonetti's children , his heirs.
